Integrated Management and Assessment System

Balancing Food Security, Conservation,
and Ecosystem Integrity in East Africa

TRAINING MANUAL

Global Livestock Collaborative Research Support Program

US Agency for International Development

This on-line volume is based upon a workbook created for use in workshops held in April 2000 by Randy Boone as part of a training effort under IMAS. The workbook includes many images, and so is presented in sections to ensure file sizes remain reasonable. The sections are in Adobe PDF format, so you will need the free utility Acrobat Reader to view the files. If printed, the sections comprise the entire volume, except for supplimental appendices, with page numbers and space for notes on most pages. References are made to SAVANNA, SMS, and SavView, which are IMAS software tools that may be available and requested from project investigators.
