Units for these parameters are g m-2 over the depth range 20-D cm, where D = the soil depth (corresponding to site parameters THICK(*) ).
If a pool value is not supplied, it will be given an initial value using the following equation (assuming here that soil is 200 cm thick, and the initial simulation layer thickness is 20 cm):
