Come along on this field trip to explore the natural beauty of McCain Valley in southeastern San Diego County at elevations of 3000 to over 4000 feet. Vegetation types include oak and riparian woodland, chaparral, and high-and low-desert transition. Spring flowering shrubs should also be in bloom for your viewing pleasure along with late-blooming annual wildflowers. All areas visited will be within easy walking distance of the vehicle. An early dinner stop at a local restaurant will be made before returning. Price includes transportation.
