Wetlands, streams, and ponds play an important role in regional ecosystems. You will discuss the ecology of freshwater ecosystems and learn about the biotic, climatic, and geologic factors important in the formation and maintenance of these systems. Field experiences will include soil and water sampling and biotic inventories. Learn how to analyze field data to predict levels of biodiversity.
