7 AM bird walk in the park by Roanoke Valley Bird Club members
8:30 AM Zoo opens
9:30 - 11:30 Bird Sit - observe birds from a circle in the Wildflower Garden.

Bring monofilament fishing line or six-pack rings for recycling and receive an International Migratory Bird Day poster.

Zoo activities include free samples of bird-friendly shade grown coffee, displays by local environmental groups, keeper chats, and Migration Station activities for kids.

4:30 Zoo gates close
5:00 Zoo closes
