The Nature Days at Missouri Botanical Garden’s Shaw Nature Reserve will focus on observation of biodiversity and hands-on examination of the environment, specific habitats, and plant/animal interactions. Events will include monitoring water quality and stream habitats in the Meramec River which passes through the Shaw Nature Reserve and observation of pollinators in the wetland and glade communities. A general biodiversity census of plants in bloom and animals encountered in these habitats will also be taken during the event.
