Annual average precipitation is 512.9 mm based on 30-yr normals.

Annual Temperature

Annual average temperature is 2.5°C based on 30-yr normals.

Soil

Soil classification is Hemimor/Orthic Gray Luvisol.

Native Forest/Vegetation Types

Dominant tree species are Pinucont, Abielasi, and Piceglau. Stand density is 634 trees/ha with basal area at 27.4 m 2/ha. The ecoclimatic province of Topley is Cordilleran. Dominant shrub species are Vaccmemb, Loneinvo, and Rubupary. Dominant moss species are Pleuschr, Ptilcris, and Hylosple. Dominant herb species are Corncana, Rubupeda and Linnbore.

Principal Biome/Ecoregion

Holdridge life zone is cool temperate subalpine moist forest.
