Wildebeest portrait Naserian means "Peaceful" in the Maa language, a fitting name for this easy-going girl. Some of the animals we collared ran from the vehicle and required a bit of chasing, but Naserian and her group were calm. We were able to approach the group, and Dr. Domnic Mijele was able to dart her easily. In the photograph, Kenya Wildlife Service Capture Specialist Corporal Pemba Ole Maieu helps Naserian on her way.
